Falling Leaves…..

As I sit near the window ,

My eyes catch the leaf fallen below,

Mind wanders to the happenings ,

Of the past few days ,

And it compares to the events,

That unfolds in front of my eyes.

My mind goes back to that day,

When out of windows of the internet,

You came to my life,

Just as the leaf came through the windows.

A new world unfolded in front of me,

A new awakening took place inside me,

As I found a new confidence and a new self,

I started to fly in the clouds just ,

As the new leaf flying to the breeze,

Not realizing that these emotions and feelings,

Are short lived just as the leaf which falls of annually,

My life is back to the phase from where it took off,

But for the few sweet memories of my dear lost friend,

Which I am sure will be with me to accompany,

Through this long journey of my life.
